Call for Dads; Honoring Dads on Father’s Day

This Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day. Because we have a little one at home,
this year we celebrate my husband as a father. It is however during these
holidays, I also think of the sons and daughters that have lost their fathers or who
never knew them.

So many articles and blogs are written about supporting mothers and women. I am
one of these ‘bloggers’ and therapists. I think it’s also so important to
recognize the men that stand up and embrace fatherhood.

Dad’s can play a huge role in a mother and child’s life. For me, I could never
have done this journey as a mother without a supportive man who doesn’t mind
changing a diaper or stepping in when I need a break. It’s for him that I post
this beautiful video.
